Jewellery Care
Jewellery Care:
Your Eleven Eleven Jewellery is thoughtfully handcrafted using 9ct Gold, sterling silver and using natural stones, some of which are cast in place and others set by hand. Each piece is designed to be cherished for years to come. Here’s some quick tips how to maintain your jewellery:
Caring for Sterling Silver and 9ct Gold
- Sterling Silver: To keep your silver jewellery gleaming, gently polish it with a soft, lint-free cloth. When not in use, store it in a cool, dry place to minimise tarnish. Humidity and silver aren’t the best of friends!
Looking After Natural Stones
- Natural stones are at the heart of Eleven Eleven Jewellery, each one unique in its character and energy. Whether cast in place or set by hand, they require delicate handling.
- Avoid using abrasive or harsh cleaning agents on your jewellery, as these can damage the stones. Instead, clean them gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or smudges.
When to Remove Your Jewellery
To keep your Eleven Eleven pieces in optimal condition, we recommend removing them:
- Before showering or swimming, as chlorine, saltwater, and humidity can affect both metals and stones.
- When applying beauty products such as lotions, perfumes, or hairsprays, as these substances can dull their shine.
- During housework, gardening, or physical activities, to prevent accidental scratches or exposure to harmful substances.
Storage Recommendations
- Store your jewellery individually in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box to avoid scratches or tangling.
- Keep it in a dry, cool environment to protect against tarnish and maintain its brilliance.
